    I brought this to try to experience eating on a clear glass plate. Your food does look more inviting on this plate. Surprisingly to me, this plate is very durable and easy to use, and clean after use. There's no scent to any dishware so I don't know why they ask that.

    Fairly thick, they stack well, and they're inexpensive. I needed something to replace my current Hodgepodge of tableware. I will try to remember that these are not microwave-safe. I'm sure they would survive a LITTLE in the microwave, but if it's not rated for that, don't do it! Now I've got 12 plates, uniform in size and color (clear), and I didn't have to give up a day's pay to get them. Got 12 matching cereal-sized bowls, too. Made in USA, too :)

    We bought a bunch of these exact plates years ago, and this is our second or third round buying more. They really last a long time. Every now and then one will fall from a child's fingers as they retrieve a stack of them from the cupboard. Most of the time, they don't break, but hey, nothing lasts forever (unless you really don't like it, and then you can be assured it will last much longer than "forever" ;-) ).

    have been using bone China for years supposedly dishwasher safe. recently plates have gritty residue after washing and need to rewash them by hand. decided to put them aside and get these plates. perfect size, Perfect Color, washes up wonderfully in dishwasher. have other pieces for years and they worked well. I expect no less from these.
